Ole has a traveling ear day

Ole's ears took a journey today. It started with his left ear straight up and his right ear folded to the right like an arrow giving you directions or a hitch hikers thumb. They never really came up together today and by early afternoon both were flopped , the right one to the right and the left to the left. It's 10:00PM and that's where they've stayed. It'll be interesting to see where they go tomorrow. I took him on a training walk on his long line this morning on the oceanside board walk. It went pretty well. He's actually more responsive and better behaved on the longline when I walk him than he is on a leash. He only partially lunged once at a jogger, I wasn't quick enough with my distraction and sit signal. We worked on the oceanside for about 20 minutes and then walked back over to the bay where I let him celebrate his good behavior by digging a pit in the sand. Before lunch I did some nosework practice with Shelly and Elmo, hid 5 containers of scents up and down the court outside our fence & next to our house. Then I took 3 q-tips with the Birch scent on them and hid them in the blind alley behind our neighbors house. Elmo and Shelly both did great and found them all quickly. Then i put 8 boxes out in the same alley and took Ole there and did 4 runs for him . He loves box work. But then he loves to eat so finding hot dog pieces in boxes is the best thing on earth to him. He is very focused and gallops from box to box ..such joy! Later after dinner (Ole's) Abner took him on a training walk and said when they got back that he did well so I was happy to hear that.
